Southern Sweden and Copenhagen

i wonder if theres any interest in starting a weekly or monthly CA sketchgroup in Malmö, Lund or Copenhagen? If you live in or or near any of these citys, or would be willing to travel to them to sketch and do arty stuff, drop a line here or send me a PM.

I live in Malmö, but would be willing to travel some to make this happen, just as long as it´s not too far away.

I'm moving to denmark in 2 1/2 months.. I'll be in Horsens.. I think it takes me 45 minutes with train to get to Copenhagen.. So when I get there..I'm definetly in :)

That´s great Talmir. I knew i could count on you. I suppose Copenhagen would be a fair place to do this in then, as it´s just a short trip from Malmö. :)

Anyone else up for beer and sketch? There has to be some Copenhagians that would just kill to drink beer and draw with me and Talmir? No??

yes indeed, i live in copenhagen so i'd be well up for that. i dunno how long i'll be living here though, but still. if it was a monthly thing i wouldn't mind getting on a train to get to it! :)

Yay, theres four of us now, and i was expecting this thread to drop into oblivion. =P

I think we should make this happen as soon as possible, so we wont forget about it. A few more people then we decide upon time and place. What do you think?

Btw, am i really the only artist from Malmö here? Don´t leave me all alone with two Danes and an Icelandian! Sign up and join the fun, i´m sure this will be a blast. :)

Ok, that evens it out a bit. I´m actually half Finnish, so it´s 1 Swede, 1 Icelandian, 1,5 Danes and 0,5 Fin. All we need now is a Norwegian.. (and a nude model...)

erm.. now I've been told I'm 1/3rd part danish so it will be : 0.7 icelander, 1.8 danes, 0.5 fin..

I wont be able to join you guys for around 3 months (reason: different country) but I'm moving to denmark shortly..

Now we need more people.. get this group going..

I totally forgot about the 3D festival. Theres some heavy names there. Scott Robertson and Feng Zhu are the ones that come to mind...

I´ll let you know in a day or two if i can come Plaf. It would be cool to meet up and do a little sketching/talking/whatever and drool at all the beautifull work at the festival.

Apparently you can register online and get a free pass instead of paying 150dk at the door, but do you know if that covers Fengs and Scotts workshops or do you have to pay extra for that?

unfortunately you have to pay to get into those seminars :( (it's not cheap either, i think it's 2000dkr for a one-day pass) - the expo is free though, it's not uninteresting either, but it's not really very educational. just a bunch of people trying to sell their stuff to you.
