Undertow, Scuro, Sapphire - Thanks. I feel better now. Mono, Strep, flesh-eating virus lodged in the throat - whatever it was it sucked and now it's gone. Sketch crawl sounds like a blast, I can't wait! BTW - Art walk in Pioneer Square is tonight. I'm TOTALLY there!
It was probably a macaroni noodle;)

Quick question for everyone, well.. mostly for the guys..
Do any of you play hockey, ice skate, or have an interrest in playing hockey? The only reason I ask is I'm getting really serious about hockey again (played for 7 years, been skating since 6) and am actively pursuing building an intramural team. If anyone is interrested, let me know and we can talk in greater detail.

Mike! I'll take photos at the rink this afternoon if you want?;) lol I'll be down in Seattle next week, this weekend Lou is broke so Rachael and I are staying up north. This is a good thing as it gives me an excuse to go to the ice rink ALLLL WEEEEEKEND! I'm also in the process of planning a weekend up in Vancouver sometime next month. Seattle sketch group meets Vancouver sketch group and tears up the city? BTW, for those of you that live up in Bellingham, I'll be at the Sportsplex ice rink at 2:45 for stick and puck practice/community skate 1/2 ice 1/2 price. For directions, it's off exit 153 on I-5. www.sportsplex.com If ya'll are interrested you should drop by.

I've got a new sketch book and have finally been able to find time to add media to it. I need inspiration - I've drawn an angel gal, a marble gal statue and a banana. Freakin' joy of joys. Going to Sat night's sketch group is in effect and I'll be there to get my head out of my ass. This is a promise....I WILL BE THERE....

Undertow
March 11th, 2005, 10:29 AM
No, Vancouver BC Sok!:) If memory serves me correctly, you're not 21 yet? If that's the case you can drink in Canada as the legal age is 19. There's no bus route that I'm aware of;)

I figured we could get 3 or 4 of us with vehicles together and car pool. Enterring into canada you need either a birth certificate or passport to prove that you're a US citizen. So if you don't have those documents squared away, now would be a good time to do so. The beauty part about taking care of this stuff now is that if we decide to do future trips up north, or bring the group to say... Prague, it'll be one less worry on the list. BTW for all you anime/manga fans, I'm deploying to JAPAN so if there's anything you want from the book/toy stores out there I'll be collecting a list in May before I leave.

I'll be there tonight, and I'm bringing my wife as well.

Hey All! I think this will mark my 400th post at CA.org...not sure what the big deal is, but hell....since I'll never get to the same posting level as Jet Pack, I might as well celebrate this! I'm going to tie it in with the fact that this weekend, Sunday to be exact, marks my one year wedding anniversary (which is one reason why I won't be attending this evening). I am working on a C.O.W. #6 image (digger creature) so at least I'm doodlin' and noodlin'. I'm going to post a wip of my C.O.W. in a bit....stay tuned.

It was great to finally make it to a sketch night! These last couple of days have been more art-intensive than things tend to be up at college a lot of the time. Sketch Night, Art Not, the zoo sketching... good times, good times!

I liked the whole "doing one concept for an hour" thing... it was fun and gave us a goal, and then we get to see what everybody could immediately come up with. (Posted mine in my sketchbook already.)

So, thanks David York and Mike for schlepping me around everywhere! Thanks Eli for getting us into the zoo, and thanks David Hunt for being awesome. :)

I'll shoot for a Saturday the next time and hopfully I'll be able to meet more of you. There was only three people by the time we showed up (sorry - I can't remember who was there - feel free to berate me and call me names... :nohope: )

Anyway, got to the conference and that turned out really cool. I'd never been to one before and seeing all these people in costume was a ton of fun. I think there were almost as many women in skirts as men :D

Also had the opportunity to meet and have lunch with Todd Lockwood, who's been playing an informal mentor to me for the past year. That was great. Also had the chance to meet Micheal Whelan. Both of these guys are kind of pillars for me. Whelan has been an influence since before I was in highschool. The cool part was that I met him totally by chance.

Also got to meet this writer guy. Alan Dean Foster. I guess he's written a couple of books or something ;)

All in all, it was fun and a great experience. I ended up with a signed Whelan print of The White Dragon, one of my personal favorites.

Cheers all,

Heya folks.. I figure that I'm more or less amongst friends here in the WA thread, I just really need to vent about something I've noticed on the forums as of late.

We're getting an increasing number of noobs that don't give a flying F about their work and it's past the point of pissing me off. While browsing the forums I keep having this (http://maddox.xmission.com/irule.html) pop into my head. Seriously, if you suck that bad, don't post. Go to Borders/Barnes and Nobles/Walden or the library, get a book on how to draw and start practicing. When you're done with that book and are unable to figure out what else you need to do, then start asking for advice on where to go next.
The thing that pisses me off the worst about these noobs is that they'll masquerade as someone willing to learn but only offer up excuses as to why "I don't have the time to fix X". If you aren't serious about your work, you shouldn't be on this site. There are others here that are busting their asses trying to improve and their hard work is being pushed to the bottom of the pile as the threads continue to fill with garbage. I know it's not feasible to have an application process just to post on these forums but there needs to be a way to start regulating the asshats that are drawing a single middle school level head shot of someone and saying "Hey guys check out my work" which will then be followed by "You need to work on X" at which will be replied with "Well this was really quick and I wasn't serious about, I'll take your advice to mind when I pick up the pencil again next WEEK." I'm glad that I'm not a mod, and never will be, I'd be indiscriminately banning mf's today.
On a random side note, my favorite comedian Dane Cook (http://www.danecook.com) is performing at UW on Monday. Some of you may remember me more or less performing some of his stand up at sushi a few months back. Alright.. my rant is over. See you all tomorrow;)

mike, i'm right there with you. i've been noticing a lot of that shit lately too. it's not just the space they take up, but it's also the attention they get. i like to think that i spend a good amount of time and effort on working on my drawings, but when i put up a sketch for crits i get nothing. on the other hand, someone from deviant art comes in and posts up a bunch of paintover crap and their thread fills up with comments (mostly negative, but still). i'd like to see the mods take more into their own hands. like when someone posts up a lazy crappy noob drawing, a mod should step in, refer them to a thread for learning about drawing, then lock their posted thread. let it get lost in the shuffle rather than mine (i'll actually use advice given).

onto other things. i love dane cook! do you need tickets for that? or just show up? probably at meany hall right? on a sad note, comedian Mitch Hedberg died just a couple days ago. he was another hilarious roughly new comedian. so sad.

anyway, see what you started mike?! now you've got me ranting. see you tomorrow.

heya WA guys and gals got to see Dane Cook last night at Meaney Hall on UW and I laughed so hard it hurt, so for those of you that missed out his new CD and DVD will be available very soon. In other news I bought a PSP this past weekend. I had buyers remorse for the first 30 minutes, and then I got it out of the box. If you're in the market for a portable game station the PSP is clearly the best option. It's a little pricey for the initial investment but worth every penny for people on the go. My recommendation for the first game to purchase is Lumines. My follow up title is going to be either Ridge Racer or Wipeout.

While I'm at it, I know I haven't posted anything in my sketchbook in a few weeks (more because I've been lazy and haven't scanned anything) but I wanted to ask you all for some crits. I'm at the point where I really need people to start ripping into me so I can find some direction with my work. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. This Saturday it is frigging on. I have an idea folks. How about we get a mini t-dome topic together during the week and actually execute our entries between the hours of 7 and 11 on Saturday at Vita? That way we can all come up with ideas for our work, gather reference material, and be ready to work when we get there. The rules would be;
reference collection during the week, no, I repeat, NO thumbnails, pre-lims, what have you until Saturday at 7 pm. Pieces will be due Saturday night at 11 pm when they will be judged by the group by secret ballot. No excuses as to why you can't finish either, it's your fault if you show up late;) It'll be the bi-weekly SEATTLE DRIZZLEDOME!!!!! What do you ya'll think?

Hey Mike, et al.
Re: this Saturday - I'm down with that idea! I'd say go it solo, but if you really need your partner to hold hands with, then by all means, pair it up.

I was considering a new way of doing the 1 hour sketch jam where you would have the opportunity to write a noun (person, place, thing) on one sheet, and a verb on another. Everyone would put their two sheets into two respective hats and then someone would draw out one sheet from each hat and whatever that combo was is what we'd draw - I could see doing three of these in one evening with 15 minute breaks in between.

Sok - I live 1 mile from Cafe Vita - you know I'd love to get ya, but with the cost of gas, my ass is stayin' local.

On a side note - please go over to COW 9 (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=42203) and vote for your fav. Be sure to write in the reason why you're voting for who you have selected. It's totally cool to note that Prostate won COW 8 - Congrats man! And also that I believe Seattle has the greatest turnout of artists doing COWs. Kick ass! I want to see some more butts doing this!

BTW, I won't be at Art Not for the next two months. I've signed up for a class at roughly the same time at the Seattle Academy of Fine Art. Hopefully I'll be able to soak up some mad skillz there.

See ya on Saturday eve!

On the Creature of the Week 9 voting, and a minor bitch
I voted for you Dave. Negrotuerto didn't really capture the idea of the concept IMHO. THe lantern fish idea is too overused, and furthermore his cute factor isn't cute, it's kind of disturbing looking. I can't see anyone approaching that thing.
"Dude, there's some freakish gonzo nosed child looking at us."
"Let's throw rocks at i- aaaactually, is your paintball marker in the truck?"
"Good call, I'll be right back."
At least in your piece it's cute enough on the top side that you'd actually look at it and think that it was cute enough to approach it, and attempt to touch it. Then again I think that people are basing the COW voting off the illustration not the concept, which is why I don't compete. I'm not good enough to garner too many votes based on my artistic ability.. and being that most of them have been voted on based on the illustration and not the conceptual design I'm not going to bother until my illustration skill matches my conceptual design ability. As much as I love Cakes creatures I'm going to have to agree with Fozzy and say that I think he took the cheap way out of the last competition. Although it was humorous having a random ass element like the easter egg in there, conceptually it didn't seem like it was originally drawn for COW and he just threw the egg in there for eligibility(you're still the man though Cake).

Now onto this Saturdays drizzledome
I like the idea of individual challenges for voting simplicity. Unless we were to make the deadline 10pm (2200 for military folks) and then do voting like the TDome in San Fran where we seperated the entries into different skill levels, a 1v1 makes more sense. If it's a 1 on 1, I'll take on anyone, even Kekai (bring it on bro);) Hey man, you should try to brow beat Xia into showing up for a change, it'd be nice to see him. On a side note, is anyone else going to try to make it to ArtNot for life drawing on Saturday?

-MV

April 13th, 2005, 01:22 PM
Hey Mike - first, thanks for the vote! The reason I didn't vote for Negro was that it looked too similar to the COW 2 - "Don't touch that!" winner, only that this creature has the bait coming from the other end. I think peeps are voting on it for the rendering, which is pretty tight, if I do say so myself. Second, do you truly care about the vote? You really shouldn't, hoss. It is much more fun to have the topic and the deadline and just go from there. However, I must say that I went ga-ga when Mike Coriero (sorry if I butchered the last name) voted for my jelly belly in COW 8 - that really meant a lot to me! In fact, each vote or personal input I do get is bolstering to say the least! However, I got one sympathy vote from a coworker of mine for COW 6 and zero votes in COW 7 and yet I still went at it. So pony up, bro, have fun and make mine a double!

As for drizzledome this Saturday - Mike, you're allllll mine.

I got absolutely NO COW feedback except for people kind enough to visit my sketchbook thread, and I have to say I totally agree about the voting system, and people choosing rendering over concept. I'm getting increasingly frustrated, because I do try with these entries, and don't get so much as a mention in any post talking about the entries for that week. I feel like everybody gets mentioned at some point but me, and it's discouraging and depressing. I think I'm not going to do COW anymore... at least not at the moment. It's good to get feedback, either way, and I want to learn, and that's just not happening. I feel kind of in a bad place right now about my art, and as shallow as it sounds, encouragement goes a long way.

Dave, did you say something about coming up to B-ham?

Don't worry about it Sarah...sometimes I wish the big proffesionals would come to my sketchbook and give me some really good crits and encouragement, but that's not going to happen until I do something so good that they will notice. I mean if anything people notice the elites first before, hence really good at drawing and coloring, or just tight rendering, which i haven't achieved yet. If it's any consideration Sarah, I really like your COW entry, it was cute, and would be deadly, I mean shit a freakin' kitten scratch my eyes and I thought it was cute, it was my fault when i blew below the belt to figure if it was male or female....

this was my first time doing the COW, and though it was a lot of fun, i can see where the complaints are coming from. thankfully okelvin did a mass crit on everyone's piece, otherwise no one's said a thing about mine. i think he hit the nail on the head talking about how mine is going to get lost as a pencil drawing in a sea of wacoms. that's where i see most of the bias coming into play. i think there's a prevailing attitude on this site of digital paintings being the only finished work. sorry, i don't have a wacom. i really want one, and i really want to learn how to use one, but they're so damn expensive.

anyway, i've always loved drawing with a pencil, and if that's not good enough for some people, too bad. meh! :moon:

don't think i'll be doing this weeks COW, but i'm not turned off. i think i'll try for next week.

Hey Guys,
May I ask what is stopping you for posting something in the voting section regarding getting crits? In essence, don't feel put off - take the time to do a crit of some or of all 30 plus entries and at the end say something like - I'd love it if people could give me feedback so I can improve and apply it to my next COW. The grubble grubble is beneath all of you and you know it. Ask and you shall receive. In fact, I'm going to give crits on each piece from the Seattle based crew in the voting section right now. Will I see you there?
Peace.

dave-

i really think my comment was more observation and less complaint. that is to say, that i don't take offense to it. but i know what you're talking about. so yeah, i'm gonna go crit some more in the spirit of "you get what you give". the thing that's stopping me from asking for comments is that i don't want to seem petulant. i still think there's a digital bias, but that's ok. it will either make me try even harder with non-digital media, or force me to sell off some of my worldly possessions to buy a tablet. :painting:

I'm not worried about getting votes Dave. I'm really slow when it comes to renderring and that's what's really required. Unlike some of these guys that go to school and have tons of free time, I have a full time day job in the Navy, a business that I run at night, and a wife... our version of quality time is her sitting on the couch in my office playing Lumines on the PSP while I work on the computer. Remember, unlike the civilian world, I'm expected to have ironed creases and shiny boots when I go to work. It's more or less a no no to bring my sketch book with me, as there is a rule that we're not to have non-military related work or reading material in the work center (unless it's school work).

With regards to this weekend, I accept your challenge Dave. Just tell your wife that you wont be coming home later because I will OWN YOU!! j/k It's cool that you challenged me because I'm sure Kekai would've been too much of a candy ass to go toe to toe with me anyway. Yeah that's right Cake.. you know wtf is up ;) j/k

Mike - you're just a squirrel lookin' for a nut in this drizzle-on-my-nizzle challenge, aren't ya? I'll sink you like a three foot putt! If you were a cereal, it'd be a toss up for either Fruit Loop or Special K!
.....hmmm....what other high school smack downs can I resurrect?

Ahhh....just like an artist, I'm drawin' a blank......

Okay, so here's my life in a nutshell - full time job, a wife, workout 5 days a week, have a side business where I'm currently taking on 3 medical legal projects and also manage an apartment complex of 32 units with my wife.

I'll sketch on a pad in the pad whilst watchin' tv with Kris and other times, I'm doing it at work on my lunch hour so I'm only poppin' about 6 hours into my creature production and about 3 hours into thinkin' about it before hand.
Pissin' contest aside, do what you're good at - post it in pencil or in ink - ain't no shame in that, bru. Prehistoric did it and I was damn happy to see that! My first COW was in pencil on toned paper. Gotta get in bud. How about if we all vow to post our COW 10 as pencil/pen (eg traditional)? Can I get an amen? Solidarity bru.

Okay, so here's my thought on this current COW - siren.
First of all, I'm not interested in making anything humanoid, so I was considering playing off of the name 'siren' and creating variations from that. Huh? Let me explain - my current concept is a psi-ren - a creature with a big ass brain capable of creating images and thoughts via audio projection thereby drawing prey toward it. "Hey Bill! You hear that? Holy shit! Look at the breasts on that girl over there....! Let's go!" (Little do they know it's just a mirage....
The idea is totally open, don't be afraid to look up a word and see what it means. Sapphire - there is an eel-like aquatic NA salamander with small forelimbs and no hind limbs and permanent external gills that is called a Siren. I can totally see you doing a play off of this. Just think - limitless possibilities once again! Wow them with your ability to go beyond lore - the few entries in thus far are too literal in my mind. Right now, it's coming down to who can render human anatomy (boobs and butts) the best.
Just my thought, and I will do mine as traditional this go around...please join me!

BTW - thank you all so very much for your crits!!!! Much obliged and will take all thoughts into consideration. :}

Cheers!

hmm.. how about a cross between a ninja/samurai w/non traditional mask/headgear and half plate armor? Preferred weapon is a rope dart attached to a katana or a naginata (whichever you think is cooler). If you choose a Katana with rope dart, he must have a Wakazashi as well. Armor can be stylized ala Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden, or Onimusha style incorporating both ninja and samurai aspects. That way you don't have to draw full plate. Alright, now your part is to come up with an enchanted item for the character. It can be any of his weapons, an armor piece, etc. This will be to throw a mystical/magic element into the design for added flare.

In AD&D (all 3 editions), the Platinum dragon was a manifestation of a God which was the Good-aligned counterbalance to the 5-headed Chromatic Dragon (in DragonLance, the Platinum Dragon is a manifestation of Paladine, whereas the 5-headed dragon is a manifestation of Takhisis). fab fox you should definately join the ninja circle competition, I think it would be better if we all did one subject, cause I dunno it would be fantastic to see everyone's take on one subject, and plus it help push people who hasn't tried that subject, into doing something new, and of course whomever win can get bragging rights for the whole week :P

It's a few hours away, and are there any other subjects or challenges? I think it might turn into "Be Like Mike Day", which is cool.

fab fox - I would challenge you, but I think you'll have a better time with a stronger opponent.

Dylan, you should just jump into any challenges if not join me, Dave, and Mike on ours, just go straight to vita's after work, I'll even bring some papers and pencil ready for you :) Fab fox is looking for a challenge I believe.

I am up for the FabFox challenge. I re-read some of the post and coudln't find the info I was looking for. Are the challenge topics individualy decided?

Thanks, but no thanks, I have my own pencils ;)

I'll be there around 8:30. I am like a nervous 12 year old school girl. My first t-dome (mini as it may be) and my first jump into a sketch group.

LOL.....schoolgirl....nervous.....not in Japan......but anyways I'm not sure how it was suppose to go, first I think it was suppose to be a group thing with one subject, then people started challenging people individually and then into oblivion. Well glad to have ya on board Dylan, shit I haven't been there for awhile and today I will be there.

Good seein' all ya'll yesterday! Nice turnout and excellent topics for the mini draw off. Next time I think we should all do the same thing or split right down the middle with the topics. We should also probably stop a little earlier so as to vote and then (if you want) to give thoughts about 2 good things on each piece and 1 crit for improvement.
I posted my COW 10 - Tiggo Bitty. Go check it out.... :teeth:
Okay...I'm off to do some med legal poop. That's figuratively, David York, not literally. hahahaha.....
Mike - glad to meet Rachel! She's pretty darn cool. Lou - Next time introduce your gal. :tihi:
Sok - glad you could make it!
Everyone else - same thing!!!
Peace.

It was fun as hell guys, thanks to David York for taking me out. Nice to meet the new guys on board, like Gabe, and I didn't get the guy's name that had the default win by going against himself :),

ParkerD, dude I didn't even know you were there, sorry couldn't talk to you more, I was busy doing that 3 hour competition. I'm glad we meet for that minute though.

Lou good to see you again, buddy, and glad you brought Trina to the sketchmmet, I didn't see what she was drawing you should post it up :P

Eli, and Eli wish I had more time to catch things up with you guys.

David E. man that was the first time I've ever seen your sketchbook and i'm blown away. So much beautiful work, thanks for kicking my ass in the samurai contest, it taught me a good lesson.

Mike, David, Rachel, and Zach it was cool drinking with you guys. Shooting pool was fun, oh how I miss hanging out like that.

Mike thanks for pushing me to finish a complete picture in 3 hours, even though it looked crappy, but deadlines are deadlines.

dylan, with a lower case d, not Capital d, dude almost missed adding you, I guess it slipped my mine, but it was real cool for you to hang. That samurai was badass dude, I would love to see that color, I bet it would look awesome.

Phil (not even sure if you check the forums) it was always good to see ya, your drawing was the pimp, sigh you should have won, anyone with a overuse of blue, and 2 hot babes in chains deserve the crown. Good to see ya again!

Anyone else I miss it was good to see ya.

I finally posted my COW 10 entry, and man there are so many good designs this time around, more high quality work, than the last I think. It's going to be INSANE. Love your creature Ehlert....good shit......lol good name for it too.

sorry I sucked ass on Saturday. I hadn't drawn anything for almost 3 weeks so I was a little rusty to say the least. It was great seeing such a large turnout for a change. I appologize that I didn't get to meet all of the new guys, I will rectify that next Saturday. Speaking of which, being that Saturdays seem to be a better day for everyone to show up the Saturday sketch groups can be the TDome days. We should set up our topic(s) now. I also propose that we start up a Seattle Sketch Group thread in the sketchbooks section. Starting next week we'll start uploading artwork to it showcasing the Seattle crew.

Redehlert (Dave) As I said before I sucked ass and got owned, good job man:) (even if it was by only one vote I'm eager to go at it again.) I've actually already started doing studies in my sketch book today and am going to have 3 full pages to update to my sketch book after I get home from work. Now that CTech has been delayed I'm able to focus on my artwork again and start the improvement process by working on my renderring and anatomy. I promise that I will be in top shape for our next duel, and will be ready for you.

Sok: Dude, it was awesome playing pool with you and Dave, we should definitely do that again... next time without the rediculous bar tab;)

Zack: It was great talking military history and tech with you, it's rare that I can find someone that holds the same interrest in tech and able to keep up a conversation for more than 5 minutes on the subject. Too bad you had to leave, we had a blast playing pool.

For those of you that care, as far as updates on Lou and I's game CthulhuTech, the word on the street is that our distributor is going out of business so the project is being delayed again.. we're actively looking for a new distributor but dependant upon the table top RPG market we may postpone release indefinitely. I'll post up a bunch of the CTech concept art to the Seattle Sketch Group thread (sketchbook) once we have it up and running. IN the mean time, take care everyone I can't wait to see you all next week!

Hey Mike! I voted for yours...in case you were curious. I liked your pose and the attention to detail.... :}
At any rate, you didn't suck(!), but I'm happy to hear that you'll be posting more stuff soon. I know what you mean by getting rusty....happens to me all the time.
Good idea for the sketch book thread...I'm in.
Gonna be a busy week, but I still hope to do the COW11 - dream/nightmare eater. Now Mike, since you have the time how 'bout it?
As for our next duel....I'll be waitin' for ya, princess.

Peace!

Hey, Seattle,
Some of you know who I am and I thought possibly, just possibly you might be interested in the fact that I did the c.o.w.#10 (with fear and trepidation).

I've seen the work you guys/gals have been posting there and it is amazing. I particularly like the fact that there is such a high percentage of Seattle folks each week, sometimes I think you guys are taking over!

Anyway, I did the Hoh Siren, and would love to hear your comments and suggestions. I am new to the digital painting thing, and am miserably slow at it, but am willing to stick my neck out and learn in front of the whole world. :)

BTW, thanks for your nice comment Sok. I still haven't hooked usernames with real names, but someday I will attend a Friday night session, as I teach Portfolio on Friday afternoons this quarter. It would be great to get a post from someone letting me know the next Friday you are meeting. (Maybe Kekai could bring my Marko drawing) ;)

Thanks!

welll hellooooo Kathryn. I remember you from the workshop, I was outside smoking and drinking with you and Dave at the party.. and we ran into eachother at the Emerald City Comic Con. It's good to see you participating in our little corner of CA, welcome to the club:) The truly happenin' times to go to sketch group are on Saturdays, that seems to be the best day for everyone to show up. Either way, hope to see you around.

Hi Mike! Thanks for the welcome.
I do remember standing outside on the porch more than I did inside, seemed to be the place to meet the most interesting people. Plus I ran into quite a few people at ComicCon. . . so many new faces. . . alas, I might not be thinking of the right person. Well, I'll just have to attend the sketch group to find out, eh?

It is harder for me to make it into the city on Saturdays due to catching a ferry, but I'll try make it from time to time.

Look forward to seeing you again,
Kathryn

i'm sorry I never did the siren like I promised! I am going all out on the dream/nightmare eater, and it's going to be a rather personal piece, as dreams and nightmares for me are both a major source of creativity and a bane. I'll be posting sketches of that stuff in my thread once I have more, but I'm definitely inspired this time.

oomgawa, your entry was fantastic! I think I'm going to vote for it... I haven't voted yet. It's between you and one other person. I love how you threw in the local reference, I like that rainforest. She looks like a Firebird.

I hope I can make it to the next sketch night, I want to get down there this weekend.
