When I get inspired, I have fun designing. This here is called Assassino Peanuts based on Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood main character Ezio. I got this inspiration to make a logo after reading an article on thedieline.com on John Altman cookies package (http://www.thedieline.com/blog/2011/3/2/john-altman-cookies.html).

well done. its hard to make out the face of Ezio though. if i didnt know better id say it looks like Darth Vader. might want to work on the details in that area a bit.

Fun with design? YES!
Does this make any sense in relaying an idea?
No.
Clarify the shape to give the view an identifiable image.

Was just playing with image. When an idea struck to my head, I just scribble it. Whenever I do that, I got a basic understanding of the tools and concept. It proves useful when I use it for other projects that I'm focused at.
Scribbling is actually fun - no rules whatsoever. Just experimenting. Afterwards, it can be refined.
To be honest, I was looking for a vintage look and was testing Illustrator CS5 Live Paint tool as well as the new Pathfinder function - it functions rather differently in previous versions. Now that I understand the vintage look as well as the tools, I refined it (not the logo though) in my works particularly in creating labels.
I do know Ezio looks a little odd in there but I rather let it go and move on the real thing. ;)
