Amazon.com. Start with some Art of... books that you know, then check out the recommended or similar titles section.

Then you didn't try very hard. At amazon make sure you choose books first and try just typing the name of a game or type the art of video games. A ton of stuff comes up

Indeed. Try searching for "Art of " + a movie or game you like. Then try "Making of " + the same. E.g. "Art of The Lord of The Rings", "Making of Avatar", etc.

There are so many I wish I had unlimited budget for books... *wistful*

Try looking for other things besides Assassins Creed.

Well if it's an art book, does the fact that it's Chinese matter that much (yeah I know there's some nice tidbits of info but the art is still art)? Several friends of mine own Japanese anime art books and the art is still enjoyable and understandable.

As for finding the books: http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=assassins+creed+art&_sacat=See-All-Categories there's like twenty Assassins Creed art books in sale there, and some times it works to just add the "game title + art" since game art books don't necessarily have any special titles. Also sometimes game art is added to the walkthrough books (like Prototype game guide has a separate section of concept art), but not often.

Amazon of course but never underestimate the library! Rare books are the best imo, the big central library is your best bet for this. At least in my city. You can scan as many pages as you want for free.. Also independent book stores in the city.

If you live near a big city you'll find loads of interesting books. Take a trip to a big city and go treasure hunting. :D There's nothing like going in a great book store its like going to a candy store. I live in san francisco and they have a place called city lights books which has so many great photography books and illustration collection books. I use these a lot for reference. Where do you live?

Check this guy out. He set up a blog dedicated to art books. all kinds. He posts information, photos, videos of him flipping through the book, etc. He has an account on amazon, if you see a video linked with an art book, it is most likely him.

To buy anything, amazon.. half.com.. ebay.. etc.

:)

Thanks a lot for a lot of responds. But if I am right you suggest to me buy a art book in chinese or whatever are theese hieroglyphs? Yes of course it is on amazon a lot of art books in "english" version but which I want to find (ac series) that is only could found on jp version of amazon.

Yeah I have some opinion that pure art is basicly only at pictures, but If I want to buy art books I expect that I will read as well not only watching :(

Well, if the linked art books or the English Assassins Creed books available in ebay aren't good enough for you, then you might not have much other choice. Well, other than just not buying it.

If you're looking for the Assassin's Creed art book, you can find them on eBay or get them used from Amazon third party merchants.

Anyway, that book doesn't have much text regarding on how they create the art.

Here's a look at both the books in brief:
