I was wondering if TAD accepts students considered beginners.

Oh yeah.
TAD is my first and only art school and I would have considered myself a beginner. Now it sounds like your definition of TAD is "never put a pencil to paper". Even with that definition, the answer is yes.
Talking to scooter via live chat on the tad website would be the best way to get a feel for the school. He has talked with each student and would be able to give you the best answers.

I dont go to tad, but i almost did.
Its a great school. i remember when Jason Manely called me to get my enrollment started last year, i almost fainted...
i literally had to say, "could you give me a second", and then walk out of the room i was in...
but anyways, yea they are pretty open minded to unpolished potential.
