Hi all,
Im 21 and a third year architecture major: however, the thought of becoming a concept artist interests me greatly. I find that the part of my major that appeals to me most is the visual design aspect, and graphics, and not so much the numerous technical aspects. Is it possible or advisable to do graduate school in illustration etc, after I complete my undergraduate in architecture in 2 years? What might I expect?
I have been sketching since I was a kid, and continue to do so in a limited capacity, and have made some limited forays with CG in Photoshop. However, I can't shake the feeling that my work is far behind what it needs to be for me to get started with serious art school at this age...
