Hey, so I'm wondering how the other students got their VISA's, I went to the embassy yesterday (by the way, you americans have crazy embassies everywhere, 100 metres before the gate you already get searched through and questioned by 3 different armymen)

They told me to go online and fill in some documents, okay so I did this already but the problem is since TAD is not an accredited school (I need SEVIS, I 20 or DS 2019 document or something like that) what do I have to do, what did the others do, I e-mailed Sasha and Alison a couple of days ago and still waiting for response (I guess they have a lot of work? :s) because I can't start paying for TAD before I know that I'll be IN Austin, I understood my place in the POD is safe, but I really, really, really need to get my VISA fast because there is the waiting time and I have to book my tickets and yadda-yadda.
I've also already contacted for apartements so I'm really eager to settle in.

(I got a backup plan, but I'd rather do this like everyone else did)

So anyone that can help? I'm waiting impatiently as time is running out and I don't want to miss out my spot in TAD...
And hopefully I'll see you there!

I think what most of the students did is stay at their home country and study online...

email Sasha and Jason again to see if they can help - I was in the US on the visa waiver program which allows you to stay up to 90 days - I did that twice, then went back to Europe and will stay here for a bit.
The rule is that in a year you need to spend more time outside the US than inside. I heard of people going back and forth for 3-5 times though. It really depends on the immigration person you talk to at the airport each time you come into the country, they have a lot of room to decide, which can is both good and bad.. ;)

Until TAD is accredited it will be tricky for non-americans to stay there for more than a term per year I think :\

There are good chances that TAD Amsterdam is coming for the second term of 2011 or first term 2012!

Well I'm hoping to get a visitors visa now for 6 months and then come back next year or if the POD comes to amsterdam, I'm there, as it is really close. :p
And the guy who will be at the amsterdam POD, I heard he was really cool ;););) (your work is abnormally amazing :p)
