I'm relatively new to posting and attaching images here, but I've noticed that the maximum size of a jpeg to be uploaded is 537 KB. When I post an image, this file size shows a little grain or pixelation, but the images (jpegs) that I see posted on the forums (when I drag them to my desktop) are around 2MB and look great. Is there a something that I'm over looking in the attachment manager that allows for larger images to be uploaded?

Hmm, I don't know the answer. Could you link me to one of those threads with the larger images?

I think I resolved my own issue, the images are showing up large in Photoshop, but when you look at their file size on your desktop they are fine. I noticed this when I dragged my own image off of the thread (360KB) and opened it in PS (2.5MB). I should of known this with the amount of file saving, etc I have to do at work. Thanks for the timely reply though.

All s/w packages decompress images for display, otherwise you wouldn't be able to work on them. It is the size on the disk and not the size in memory you need to take note of.
