here is my super high poly a.p.u. from matrix revoloutions, yes yes i know the movie sucked but I thought these were cool. and also is a Liontaur. I made this well after the quadraped contest cause i thought the idea was cool. im trying to get this guy modeled so hell look good with nurms suvdivision. that's why there is tons of detai somplaces and very ruff corners on others.
But I have no Idea how to rig this guy. Im a biped character studio rigging type guy, and I dont know how to get a biped to have six limbs. If any of you guys have any suggestions let me know. I also wanna model this guy High poly and try a normal map. well enough talk....

the mech is looking pretty cool, the liontaur is also looking well, how are you planning on texturing it?

i created a six limbed creature with biped
the most important thing to remember is that you should attach all the bones that your adding before you initialize the skeleton otherwise it might only allow you to use forward kinetics
beyond that i would just create a few bones going down the spine attached to a pointhelper by the hips to attach everthing to and use

blah never mind i really havn't created any sophisticated rigs yet just alot of inverse kinetic connections
blah

I really like the body of the creature... great strong look to it.

The mech from Matrix looks great but if you can't make it look better than what was in the movie, is there much point? It's like doing Gollum... why bother, they pretty much perfected him in the movie. I don't know, that's just my opinion on doing stuff that's already done good. It is a really nice model though.:D

I don't know, sometimes i do things just to see if i can do them. I call it experimentation. but thanks for the crits. glad you like the liontaur. Im gonna shelve it for a little while. come back to it later.

nice mech but your organic modeling isnt nearly as good as your mechanical:)

yeah, I know. mechanical is much easier for me. Organic is a bit harder to pull off. thanks for the crit.
