View Full Version : NoobDesign by a Noob!

Hello all! This is my first post here, so please go easy on me! I've been using photoshop ever since i could remember, but i'm stilll a noob at it! ;D I recently got a tablet and i've been busy trying to learn the ropes with that! But here is some stuff i did..

Tell me what you guys think!

Hi there,

Shame that there is only one example here, but at least it is something to go on. The page looks like it has been enlarged for someone with bad eyesight and also has a lot of cramped elements - the two menu bars, the blue menu on the bottom, etc. I would suggest going in grayscale, maybe, and just churning out some compositional ideas. There are lots of rules in graphic design and whether you chose to ignore them or to follow them, there is no escape from them if you wish your stuff to look balanced and clean.

Really impressive start though, so keep going and post more!

hi there, i like your site, especially the box portion in between which comes off to me as sort of a gallery? correct me if im wrong. but i like it, it looks so pro. :p

what i think could be changed would be the letters, yes, according to the post prior this, the letters are big. and as for the BOLDED letters, i think they could be done in georgia font, instead of helvetica/arial which are the standard for paragraph type fonts.

just in my opinion, i hope i helped somewhat. :)
