I am considering applying to the Academy of Art University for the major of Illustration. I would like to graduate to work as an illustrator and concept artist in the Entertainment Industry.
My priority is on developing my drawing/painting/design skills dramatically and taking classes in all 3 subjects: Storyboards, Concept Art and Matt Painting.
My question is do I apply for Illustration or do I apply for the Animation and visual effects major as both list concept or video game artist as a possible career opportunity.
I should note I already have a previous degree in a major of art and so I am wandering whether I should do a second bachelors degree or a Masters.
If any one has any advice especially anyone who attended either of these programs any advice would be helpful.
Here is a link to my work.
