was soo close to completing butrather go with a good sketch of a good deign than a hurried bad render. so here it is fols very old school Prismapencil on newsprint will render when I get the chance.
As for how it works, it has small camera's constructed using mems technology along the straps and hesmispherical lense at the front that give the wearer a grass hoppers field of vision as opposed to the 60 degrees we have normally couple that with sensors that tell you if anything is moving around or towards you and where from you get the ultimate defense, since there is nolonger anything hat can catch you off guard with these babies.

Just a small note on this round:
Not much to say actually, other than that I'm glad to see that there's a few nice entries in this round :)

voted for resix, looks very ghost in the shell-ish. Almost went for john mckenna's, could very much see that design in a halo style game. But tbh I like almost all of the entries this week. Hopefully I'll get one finished and entered in the coming weeks.
But have to agree with abediah, this weeks IDW sounds tough. Im sure it will push a few people towards their limits. But should be really interesting to see what people come up with.

Cool round. Well done veryone. I wouldn't know where to start at all with this one.
I voted for Carlos. Great execution of a cool deign. Simple and very descriptive. The asymetry works really well, and I love the reflections in the main eyepiece.
I also really like Adi.'s. The graphical style is lovely, and the shapes within the goggles are really nice, but I'd like to have seen them standing out from the picture a bit more. Actually, the more I look, the more I like the design!
And John McKenna, great design, could have some sharper edges, but I like where it's going.
Anyways, this weeks looks fun, I'll see if I can find some time to draw.

Good works here. My vote was for LordVenom. I like this rethro-look and the feeling of the colors (i like this orange :))
Ragnj, peculiar style. The only thing I could change is the color in the body. Maybe draw could finish here, on the neck. As goggles design, it doesn't matter if character is not complete. Concept is great, and it have a good thecnic-human connection on his form :)
kosta, Your glasses reminds me something like Riddikk (?). More improvement on glass rendering could be great for your design (be carefull with lights ans shines, because it can deform the whole shape of the object)
Devere, is great you tried to work more on concept than on the final piece :)
resix, the guy that weares the goggles give a lot of information about how is the world where these things live on. It reminds me a cyberpunk ambience, and a kind of corrupt policeman, badest people even than those criminals that he catch xD
The next IDW is very difficult, I think :O I don't know if I will be able to do something :O

Great entries everyone; Carlos, you got my vote, really nice work, man.
As for my painting, I was trying to achieve a fantasy historical feeling, as if they could be part of an armor or something but I didnīt have time to finish and yes, I definitely needed to work more on the glass. Anyways, I had promised myself to enter the challenge so it was the best I could do with the time given
