this is for a internal project, a War Hammer animation.
this is a space marine, sans-textures...

Nice start, AfroLaxMan! If it's for an animation I would bump up the lighting a bit. But if you want to improve this pic, I would give him a nice rim light on his right side(especially his shoulder). Make sure to post the animation when you get it done!

The model is certainly looking nice..is there any chance we could see more angles/possibly a wireframe?
If not, thats cool..when you gonna texture?

Thats looking hot, slap texturing on him and he'll rock the floor. I do agree with the lighting as well, mess around with it and see what depth you can come out with.
I've got a friend here at school who modeled a character based off of a warhammer figure, he did a texturing set for it and maybe you can use it to get ideas. http://grayson.cgworks.com/3d/dread.htm
Looking forward to seeing it finished.

hell yeah its hard to get the proportions right.
the only way the 3d model wil even work correctly is
if you dont model it after the miniatures. you have to really plan ahead for space marines aatleast for animating them.
