wacom click unclicks, lifts off unexpectedly

hey everyone,

Really sorry if this has been discussed before, but I don't even know how to phrase the problem I'm having to search it out....

I've been having this problem where my wacom intuos3 stylus unclicks for no reason, so if I'm in photoshop, it just stops drawing like lifted off even when I didn't.

or if I'm in safari, it'll unclick when I'm scrolling, or in the finder, it'll just drop something I'm moving....

anyone else have this problem?

I admit that I've travelled the world with the tablet for a few years and its reliability has been rock solid... until now.

HELP?

YA! newbie blows it!

I found out it was the fact that my apple mouse was plugged in and sitting on a glass table... every time it tried to engage the surface it got comfusimicated...

just put the mouse on a mousepad and voila!
