I moved here from deviantART in hopes that my luck here will be better.

My name is Lee, I'm female, 19, I have ASD (autism) and HMS. I have been drawing all my life, and currently I have started a computer course back in September in College.

I am however mostly self-taught, my experience with Photoshop is roughly 2 + years. I prefer critics with a tutorial, as I find images easier to learn from. :B (sad but true).

I've never heard of this place in my 'internet' life. I hope that by joining here I will learn some new things, improve my work, gain friends, and supporters of my comic series, Alienz ( you can view it here - http://alienzseries.weebly.com/ )

It will take me some time to learn my way around here before i post anything, can someone point out the basics for me? :)

Yes. Actually your the first person who caught onto the name XD

Jolans is the name of a species of Butterfly (or moth) and Mactans is the species of the american black widow. So the animal book I have says, feel free to correct me. :0

Well, Latrodectus Mactans is the full scientific name for the black widow. Mactans is the family. I have a bit of a thing for spiders, and that jumped out at me. His face also reminded me of a spider's face, so it just seemed more than mere coincidence. Did not know about the butterfly (or moth) though.

Nice job on the whole thing regardless. I can't find the patience or continuity to make a comic like that. I can't even write a story more than the length of two paragraphs. Kudos.
