Featuring the collaboratudenative bizarrementicactivitiveness of Moai (http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=73603), a giant stone head from Southern California, Burhtun (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=110522), a dude from Virginia notable for formerly having long hair, Villa (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=110604), who will have a quesadilla, and fersteger (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=146113), who I do not know well enough to write anything mildly humorous about. Together, we will strive for the unique and the strange.
Rest assured that a hillarious group shot/photo collage will soon grace this first post.

I ended my 12 year longhairedness a couple months ago actually. :davi:
But my inner image of myself will always be a longhair. :geekg:

Bought my first LCD screen. It just arrived today. So much more space! Don't have to worry about all those photoshop toolbars getting in the way anymore. Now I need a faster computer so I can throw some big honkin brushes all over this sucker.

Sweet screen! I suffer from debilitating giant screen lust whenever I go into an electronics store.
Great job on the typography in that image.:)

Sup, let me join the team. Nice double monitor. I wonder how it is painting on a huge screen, like a full canvas size screen and painting from across the room. That'd be nice, like how Android does I guess.
So do I need to put my name on a list in another thread or anything??
Man I just looked at your team thread from last round, awesome stuff. Let me know if you've got an open spot then.

Happy holidays, fellow Bizarre Collaborators! I'm going to be off visiting family for the next few days, and I imagine many of you are similarly busy, but when we get back we need to start getting to know each other and discussing how we want to go about this.
In the previous round, my team used MSN Messenger to meet and discuss things. This worked well, so I'd like to do that again. So, if that sounds like a good idea to you, download MSN messenger, and click the little icon below my post and thanks count to send me a message or add me to your contacts list.

Cool choices, guys. I'll be doing the Kind of Wands and the Five of Cups.
I'm going to email Villa and make sure he knows the topic is up.

Hey dudes,
Here are some ref pics with cool flat graphic areas/rendered areas style. The titty shot is cool because it's showing the style in real life, and it's selma hayek's anatomy.
Not that any of these are what we should copy, just some ideas, and klimt.
None of these have a tarot style at all though... except that first one.

Also, we should check out waterhouse, a lot of his stuff is finished with loose nearly graphic abstract BGs.

Like this one? Blocks of tone for background really. Also a lot of clever things going on with the composition in this one that lead your eye around. very cool.

Cool references, dudes!
Here are some images I'm using for my King of Wands. The card is very fire- and desert-themed, so I'm finding some Egyptian and Ethiopian references. Plus, refs for his pet fire salamander.:)
Using photobucket to bypass the tedious uploader.

wow that Selassie guy is an interesting looking character. And those huge salamanders are disgusting in a somehow cute way, I want one as a pet.
Hey guys guess what? Half the month is gone. Whoops. I'll be posting some stuff soon.
