i like this one.
can you see the lines you make with the selection tool?
you do this in a lot of your portraits ie. with pupils and stuff, this one has a large and noticable one, i think they take away from your works - you might have done it on purpose on this one, but i uh .. eck.

very cool texture in this one, you protray a mysterious line - where lights meets shadow.

Very nice.. I really like the textue of the skin. Looks like flesh made from marble or something. And those black lines keep my eye interested in following them around. I like it!

You look black in this picture, which is strange because i was under the impression the you were white. That dont mean its not a great illustration though, because it really is.

This is my first post, but I feel it necessary to speak finally after observing for a long time. Venture a tad, and say something... once.

I just thought I'd take the time to say that you inspire me Andrew. You don't know me, but know you. You have revealed your personality in a way I have always wanted to, to everyone. A simple gesture translating into so much of your personality. It probably doesn't seem so simple from your view, finding out who you are as a person, as an artist. I'm going through that time of searching, and I may never find the path beyond this labyrinth.

I may have explained more than you wanted to hear. Tonight I had a horrible night, I would have written it all down on a weblog. Instead I drew a self portrait and it said more, with more clarity than any one expression than I have ever translated before. Thank you.
