I got up this morning, got my Coffee to start another day of painting. I wanted some inspiration. So I gave Jon Foster a Google :) Need I say more? Well I was excited and pleased to find he has a new site up, with work I've never seen before.
Inspired I was.

I´ve been watching lots of videos, and is true that not every artist excell in doing this kind of videos. As I´m painting or whatever, I really like to put this videos in my pc and running. And some of this videos are plain boring, because, As I´m not looking, I don´t know if the guy is painting or something. Sounds strange, but I really like that the painter is talking about what is he doing. And some of this videos, are 0 talking.

The best I came so far, are the Richard Schmid videos, they are erally enjoyable to watch, even for people not related to painting.

HunterKiller, I don't think he wiped it off I think he left a ghost to work with?? I watched this before and wondered the same, does anyone know?? I love that it's Donato in the background taking photos. Foster makes me go back to my anatomy books once again.
Richard Schmid, I really enjoyed this video as well, he has a lot of energy in those strokes, he holds the paint brush beautifully (is that what someone would say?) and love that he "kills color" to make the painting flow.

I think it's pretty obvious why he wipes it off.

Those are some of his really old pictures, going back to 2001 / 2002... Going back to the dawn of ca:) Nice trip back.

Thanks for the find!:)

Apparently those video are somewhat old footage from a convention. Its not from an official instructional Demo. The Noise from the Con would have washed out what he's be trying to explain. I do the same :) Painting instruction, and video as my ambience. Maybe one day well see an official Jon Foster Demo.
