Futuristic travellers bracelet
the bracelet/watch is made up of a very tough material that isn't found naturally on earth it is a millimetre thick and is stronger then titanium, all the circuitry in side the device is nano machine operated so no wires and electronics 2 worry about.

when the traveller requires the time the main device opens to show a map of the galaxy then zooms in right on to the planet they are on and synchronises with the planets rotation and displays the time

Not very happy with this entry, but i thought i'd submit it- bit of a challenge doing something different [never done jewellery before!] but still pretty fun :)

'' She'd always be in the corner, sipping something dry and rarely showing her face under that delicate black lace bonnet of hers. Bit of a mystery woman says I, always turning up in those flashy Bentley Flyers and dressed well. Always that same table too, in perfect view of Marlo's mobsters planning something of the shady type. They leave her to her drinks after that one time a month or so ago- now that was a sight! Fitz reckons she's some kinda undercover cop or somesuch; I reckons hes right.

Few notes on this round as usual:

Black Alchemyist: Your entry was still too much of a sketch and unfinished for the poll. Work some more on your entry next time.

Nice work everyone!!!!!!! I'll just pop some crits here, why don't I? Feel free to ignore yadda yadda.....

Black Alchemist: I like the shape you've made for yours. I actually think that the pattern would work really well with different layers and materials (vs the one thin layer you propose). It would be nice to see how it would fit on the arm, and what size it is. It currently could be anything, from a pendant, to a hair clip, to a lapel pin.

Reymus: I personally do not find the base design aesthetically pleasing, nor does it look comfortable. (You can get into the issues of how beauty has changed through the ages and will continue to change... :P) The format is also a bit confusing as the earrings don't appear to have anything to do with the necklace. How is the bio-makeup applied? I think a little more text or an explanatory pic or two would help. I do like the idea of any-colour make up without any work, as well as a nearly never ending supply of different choices of necklaces appealing.

Dragonroseart: A nice simple idea that is already in use today! (albeit lest hi-tech versions) I like that you've included a way to tell scale. I think you might take a closer look at what gold looks like in real life. Ditto on pearls.

Phekt: My vote. My favourite part of the necklace is the geometric patterns of the necklace itself. Again, an idea already in use. I like the story. It does look quite rushed.
