Hello all,

I am in the process of building an arcade cabinet. All the woodwork is done and I am on to doing the side and control panel art. What I am looking for is a way to export a full size 2d face of a model to be able to paint over it in Photoshop. The side I need to export is 75" x 30".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can export a 2D Graphic from SU and there are lots of different 2d image options but if quality is of concern then I would recommend .bmp or .tif for no compression. However, you might be better off doing it as an .eps and using illustrator for something that big. When you go to export you can specify the resolution by clicking the options button on the bottom right hand corner. As an .eps you can specify Full Scale and set the dimensions in feet or metric.

There are additional 3d options available if you have the SketchUp pro and PS4.

ahhhh, thank you. That .eps option is handy because I can as you said just save out a full size export of the panel and then add a stroke in illustrator and then just place it in photoshop.

Much appreciated.
