Hey folks! This is my first post here ever, hope I will be able to spend some more time here, really like this place :D

so long my concept is the mother of monstrums. She can give birth to a creature just with her imagination, her hands and some kind of magic ...
just like we are trying to handle a concept.

hmm want to add some more monsters maybe and do some more shade and increase the detail level.

there is still some time left so I am glad to hear some critics
good luck to everyone

Cheerioh! Flo Gelbmann

so long I added some tentacles and took the strange blue glowing thing away, do not like it anymore :D

and always remember all kind of critics are nice critics ...hehe

not that it is bad, but... it somehow lacks something... the concept is fine but perhaps you may add some more detail so that the focus of your canvass will stand out against the background, I also think you should rework some of her body parts so as to make her well proportioned... that is my critique for now...

wuhu my first reply here! ye I agree that there something is missing,
need some more creatures or maybe a big one I cant decide :D

or are you talking about the surface design and shading etc ...

and ye the belly is a bit too tall i guess, and the upper hand with the little frog-thing seems not to fit.

some pix are coming soon

so long thanks alot for your post :D

Well, to be honest there`s a lot to do here. Ahm... you need to define a light point cause I don`t see where the principal light focus is. You colors are too saturated. Take a risk, use more shadows and pastel tones, look at the other entries and study more the light/shadow balance. Also you gotta improve a little bit the linework, study some anatomy and stuff it helps a lot.
Don`t give up fella!
