Newborn: Robot Mother

This thread is where I'll post my pictures for the Newborn contest. I'm currently working on my first picture, which involves robots. I should have a rough sketch up in the next day or so.

At the surface, this just looks like another mother and infant newborn concept, but there's more to it. The baby represents the birth of new technologies in the 21st century, just emerging into life. This is a very rough sketch with only the base colors added, and no background or foreground yet.

...the mothers legs are a bit too short it makes her look a bit jolted.
