oren90 - Thank you ^^

Hiya, just an update to show that I'm still in the challenge.. the concept i'm uploading is actually a discard, but I forgot my actual concepts at home :( I'm currently struggling with my idea.. it's just not clicking! I want to do the birth of insanity.. In which a girl is struggling with so much emotional pain, it has driven her mad.. I'll try and upload my actual images by tomorrow.. in the meanwhile, here was the concept I did for the birth of energy:

miycko - Thank you :)

Ok, i'm uploading some of my current concepts. I really hate them right now.. none of them are capturing the essence of my idea ;_;

"Driven to madness, I gouge my eyes out, beggging for relief. But these nightmares... they don't stop"

Yes. It is dark, veeeery dark... but I haven't been able to capture its essence yet... I have a back story, somewhat, but it's very lame... I'll keep working on it but if anyone's interested i can type it up later.

Anyway, an idea that has been running through my head is that of a girl at a cliff's edge, being dragged over it by these nightmares, a pair of wings starting to emerge from her back (her salvation? This is starting to sound like the hunchback of Notredame..). I was thinking about painting it in a style influenced by Bouguereau, to give it a sort of classical feel..

Here are my attempts plus a couple of other concepts for my previous ideas. Please, I could really use some feedback..

I like the image in the topmost left corner. :3 But I'm a sucker for blues.

FalyneVarger - Thanks :D Yeah, blue is my favourite colour ^^

Hmm.. k, i've been struggling with this concept, but I think I've finally got something I like. ^^ I have two options right now.. i think I prefer the one on the left, but I could use some advice and crits.. thanks ^^
