Hello all,
Its the end of term for me and I wanted to take this time to make my recent work available for crits and all the like.
This is a short film with my first attempts at a humanoid being with bodily reactions, I was limited with the facial activity, but as I was told here I should practice more with basic principles I used a lot of good squash and stretch.

ok, just being honest, those animations need some work. I would suggest keeping things as simple as possible. For the character piece just animate a character, dont worry about the chess pieces. Try a simple walk cycle instead, concentrating on weight and timing.

The ball bounce. also needs work and the scene is overly complex for the animation. The goal is to get a really nice bouncing ball not a ball moving through a scene.

The bounce is sticky and looks like its jumping more than its bouncing. Also the timing is off. Try it again but remove everything else and just get a nice bouncy ball.

keep workin' :)
