Was so hard to decide between nonie and gax...really. I really love both for really different reasons. I thought to not vote at all, but finally went for Gax, because i like seeing such different and creative style in a contest like this one.
Once again i loved yours, nonie ! It was an hilarious subject and so very well done, and almost everyone here loves Mario. Me too! :P
So : hug for both of you !

I'll have to say this is a tough one and I love all of these!! I'm going with Nonie because I almost died laughing it's the little guy falling off the cliff and the turnip for me. Also the focal point of the front blur and you still look at these Mario Bro's... (they protect my pizza pie)

I ended up with ChaoticKnight's one. I really liked it when I first saw it, and it's growing on me.

Nonie's is awsome, but CK won in the end for me. :) Faust's is also great, honourable mention. ;)

Does flipping a coin to choose between two favourites seem wrong? Seemed impossible to come to a decision otherwise :\ In the end, it was chance that made the decision, because I'd choose both Shannanigan's and Clochette's if I could.

I really liked AUG's too, but it conveyed motherly love to me more then loss of innocence, so I went with Clochette, great execution, the idea isn't new but the execution is!
Nike, nice scene, very peacefull, it gets a bit lost between the other pics, maybe because it's smaller or not as dynamic, but I enjoyed looking at it for a bit, it has a calming effect on me. :)

Great work everyone though, I wish I could vote for more than 1 pic, say 7 or so :P !

The competition is officially over. The ladies have thoroughly kicked male ass for the second time, which is embarrassing as hell considering the lopsided registration by gender on the forum.

We...will...do...this...again...

I will post the winners and the final numbers in a day or two in the Finally Done section if I'm allowed. If not, they'll go up here. Thank all of you who participated in this rather interesting little experiment. The work overall was actually rather good, and the finalists all presented really bitchin' pieces.
