FOLLOW THE TOPIC.

The Rules:
Anyone ages 13-19 may submit an entry at any time before the deadline. Please host your image on a remote image-hosting site instead of uploading it to the CA server. This makes it much easier to transfer it to the poll thread.


The Topic: [ song title illustration ] pick any one song that you like , and paint an illustration based on the song's title as the topic .
try to be creative with ideation and try to portray the mood/feel of the song if you can !!
(hint : can be done well if you try to use the lyrics as a description for the illustration , NOT a compulsion !! )
A pretty open topic. i hope this brings in more participants (i hope it hasn't been done before )

so I did the song "our hell" by emily haines, focusing on the line "my throat will ache, watching you turn from me towards your friends" and took the feeling of that line and tried to put it into my painting. let's just say it's a little bit of a self portrait too.

I chose "You never wash up after yourself" by Radiohead...tried to convey the feeling of isolation and loneliness in the song. Didn't want to put a border around it as I kinda wanted to make it look like a photo but I guess rules are rules...

All of these look great! I only wish I could of had free time to pull out my pens and get after this topic! Hmm... I'd give some critique but I'm running against the clock here!
My personal take on this would of been either Attack of the Killer Tomatoes by the Big Phat Band or Mothership by Parliament Funkadelic. Oh well, they'll just be personal projects I 'spose. :)

Great to see the Teen Challenge here at the Community Activities section.

I've actually finished my school and have a lot of time till I'll study so hope there is going to be a new challenge soon.
