hey !!
i have started studying basic human anatomy , have been self taught so far , so was thinking that maybe i could learn the basics etc. myself formally as well !?!?! so i wanted to start a thread here so maybe someone could see my progress here and comment and criticize as much and maybe even formally mentor me or even try to follow and/or join me ?? so to start off ... i did a few quick skull sketches ....

Looks like you're off to a good start, but the 3/4 skull has some issues. If you're working from a book, let us know which one, and if you're working from images or casts, post links to pictures if possible.

Some things I suggest are that once you've done a finished drawing like those above, go back and redo it. However, this time look for large forms, not so much shapes that outline the picture. To help with this, do many studies from reference of a couple angles. Also pay attention to rhythm in curves and how things interlock.

@MisterStrum : thanks man !! , yeah the front and side views are from reference but then i thought ill try to imagine a 3/4th myself , probably why i have issues with it , im not sure which book this was from though :S and i dont think ill be sticking to just one book , ill probably be sketching from image references as well !! please stick around to comment and criticis more , i would really appreciate that :)
