I really like your still life studies and rendering abilities! Just a suggestion though I would suggest with your life drawings is to use a line-of-action to help understand the curves of the spine and anatomy of the model.

here are two more pieces I did today... both are done with charcoal, but with different textures... the first one was a quick draft, I spent more time in the second one:

Line-of-Action is commonly used to add dynamics or accentuate your figure. Whether it be for animation or illustration it's a great tool to utilize. It helps capture the essence of movement. Being fact I'm an animation student that uses line-of-action in everything I draw helps take away the rigid look of my characters and concepts.

Here is what helped me out a lot with my work; Feel free to check this out!

still haven't gotten a chance to do anything with line of action, yet, but here are some stuff I've recently uploaded (they're not newly done just newly uploaded). clay and oil, in that order.

conti I sort of tried out that line of action thing... here's a drawing I made plus a cartoon I sketched for fun. (the quality of the pictures aren't the best, since they were taken by a crappy camera)

thanks :D! it's actually one of the works I like the most, if not the one I like best, but it does help looking at it in real life, since the lines are carved :)
