I have to totally agree with this, when you take the actions that a sisterhood would do and change the subjects to those which guys would rather do...you have a very easy topic.

I would say that guys like to go to war together is much more in the traditional sense of brotherhood. :P Kind of implies a deeper connection than just buddies going to a game, wouldn't it?

And i fucking hate the mall.

Plus, from my experience (and i went to an all girls school) a sisterhood isn't even nearly the same thing. Traditionally we don't have the kinds of situations that would form bonds like that, and when we do things that would (like war) it's almost always surrounded by men, and then we get left out because we're different. (Heard this from a bunch of ladies in the military.)

So i wouldn't say it's an easy topic, though it's one I'm excited to tackle, even if i never get a chance to actually feel that particular bond.

Ladies and Gentlemen...

I have good news and I have bad news...

The good news is that we have over a hundred people ready to kill each other and from the looks of the polls, two pretty much confirmed nice topics to go with.

The bad news is...

Due to just finding out about the high probability of A MAJOR TD starting in less than three weeks--and I mean MAJOR--we are going to have to drastically cut our deadline back to only FOUR (4) weeks from our original 8-10. Every other possibility we looked at meant either stalling off our TD for at least a couple of months, or canceling it completely. Neither felt right to me, so we're going ahead with our plans, but...

NOW WE HAVE A REAL WAR! The two sides will have ONLY roughly 4 weeks to get their entries in, and there IS NO HOPE of an extension.

We understand that this is a major change late in the game, but we've been working back and forth to resolve this now for three days, and this is the best we could come up with. I will have no problem with anyone who has to drop out because of RL problems, but those of you who do go for it, this will be a true test of pressure and competence that you can truly be proud of if you finish.

[This is being posted in every thread that deals with the TD to make sure everyone sees it. As I said above, there shouldn't be any embarrassment over having to drop out because of the drastic changes we had to make to the deadline. Our apologies for having to do it.]
