help a newbie post a picture

I can't find any info on how to make the picture appear in the thread. I have a hosting thing on photobucket.com, now how do i get the picture to appear in a thread, rather then a link? I've been looking for a half an hour and I can't find anything!

ok, if its up on the net (im assuming it is) then right click on the picture you want and either go to copy image location or properties, depending on whats available. If its properties select and copy the image location. it looks like "http://www.randomwebsite.com/pictures/drawing.gif"Then on your thread or reply were you want to post it after typing your message click on IMG and paste the address in there. if that doesn't work ask someone else who knows lot about computers.

I could have sworn that I did that in my post on Page 6 or 7 of the thunderdome challenge post...It just brought up the link though? or was that not supposed to happen? I will try again here to show...

I save the picture's web address, then clicked on the IMG button in this reply page, and pasted it in there....yo no comprendo..

hmm, im useing photobucket as well, and so far i havent had any problems
just copy the URL that they give you under each picture, when you post, hit the IMG button, paste the URL in the line and presto chango, you got a picture

i think that one of the moderators should make a sticky or whatever with instructions on how to post images, cause this question gets asked a hell of a lot

I agree, I looked at the top of all the forums I normally look at, and where I thought one would have been...but I didn't see one...
