I decided to start a new sketchbook again. It's now over a year since I last posted.
I've studied Andrew Loomis and tried to copy his work.

Keep workin' those studies, and give yourself time. Keep postin' too, and good luck with the drawing.

Along with human anatomy, how about trying your hand at drawing scenery from life, that be a countryside, town or cityscape. Just a nice way to excercise your abilities, also how many lifedrawing sessions have you been to?

Don't just try to copy his work, do some heads of your own with ref and without. Also, try to read and do some stuff from Loomis other book Successful Drawing, it's about perspective and shapes and how get em right. Keep posting! ;)

looks like you're on your way, try looking more that the shape of the head in all positions - don't just hop right into the sketching. Ask yourself questions such as "how far does the brow come out, are the cheeks puffy, how does the jawline look, etc.". Again it looks like you're on your way, you just need more practice.
