I just got Adobe Flash for christmas and I have a question for animating.
So, say I wanted to make a wolf run. Do you guys follow special pictures, videos, etc? I want to make the run correct. Or any tips or tricks to doing this?
Thanks.

Be sure to get your references first. Here's somewhere you could start looking:
http://www.junglewalk.com/
Also something more generic but still good:

and perhaps this one when it's up:

Have you been animating at all before? Are you doing a side walk cycle or something more complex?
Anyways.. practice makes perfect and getting reference from life is the best resource you could find. :)

Animation Meat (http://www.animationmeat.com) has a lot of good resources under their notes section, including a four-legged walk in there somewhere. So that should make a pretty good place to start.
And I second looking at reference, but not just from life though it's quite important. Look at other animated wolves and wolf-like animals, like some dogs. Anything you can think of that had a wolf in it, tried looking it up and watching that clip at full speed and frame-by-frame.
You could also try the movement yourself once you've studied it. You might look and feel silly and anyone walking in the room might judge you, but it helps so much.
Good luck to you!

Look up videos on YouTube. The best way to learn how to draw something is to see it moving, not holding still. The refrences posted are good, though.
Good luck
