my first real go at animating a character using a storyboard

Please tell me what you like and what you dont like!

Nice little clip.
You did a good job with sound.

My biggest gripe would probably be about the zoom out just before the alarm goes off. I feel this weakens the impact of the alarm.

I think it would've worked if you had animated the second hand and as the second hand ticked onto 12, the camera zoomed out, pause, then alarm.

The animation for when the clock is balancing on the edge was nice to start off with, but then he stopped moving so much and it was unclear exactly what he was doing.
Maybe see if you can find some old Loony Toons and the likes - I'm sure they have a lot of scenes with this kind of action.
