Hello friends! Long-time lurker, once-in-a-blue-moon-poster here!
I've been a pro video game animator for about a year and a half now, so most of my work is a bunch of cycles. I'm very interested in story-driven animation too though!
I've been working on my new online animation portfolio, and it's finally in a presentable state!
I'm looking for critiques on either the animations themselves or the presentation or whatever.
Here it is!

Thanks so much for taking the time to look! :teeth:

Ok, looking at godzilla unleashed, I am not sure what he is trying to do. Is it a handstand that he can't hold... or some type of fancy kick?
There doesn't seem to be that much in the way of believable weight.
I think I would have to say that the monkey running is my favorite, but it feels pretty jerky.
You might also want to rerender the turnarounds with a bit more light (especially the black guy... in black... in the dark) so that we can see a bit more to what is going on.

Hmm.. I'd remove your last walk cycle. It's your weakest part and looks too school days for your own sake.
2 cents...

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback!
Bai Fan- Those are whip-like tail attacks that KC is doing. Obviously if I have to explain what's going on in my animation, I didn't do a good enough job as an animator. :\
Glad ya like the monkey! I'm curious if you think the animation's actual timing and poses are jerky, or if it's the choppiness of the 24fps and lack of motion blur? It was a tough call for me when I rendered it on whether or not to include motion blur... I chose not to so that people could very clearly see the poses in each frame.
I'll see what I can do about the lighting. The Prometheus guy is a Maya viewport render to show the realtime normal map shading and such. Does the slake moth really need more light too? It looks fine to me but maybe my monitors are just too bright! :P
Egerie-
My 2D walk cycle? Aww but I really love it! ;)
Thanks for the honest feedback guys, I may joke around but I do take it seriously and really appreciate it. :)
