Hey all. Long time since I've posted in this forum.
I am about to finish the sculpting phase and ready to dive into making the molds and casts. The toy will consist of four parts: The hat, the figure, the turret and the base of the tank. The size, including the hat is a little over 6" (around 16 cm). It will be released in one month (November 14th) during the opening of the "Russians" exhibition at rotopol (http://www.rotopolpress.de/) (Kassel, Germany). The set will be limited to 10 pieces (signed and numbered, of course) packaged in a kaiju-like plastic bag with header card. The painting of every toy will be unique but similar. A preview will be available in the coming week.
As a way to finance the first steps of the production I have set up a fundraiser at fundable.com LINK (http://www.fundable.com/groupactions/groupaction.2008-10-17.3262959060) (click the link for more info and the donation page)
Anyone donating the minimum amount will receive a limited edition signed and numbered print which will be only available for this purpose. It won't be available anywhere else.
Anyone donating more than 140$ will receive the print and the actual toy.
If somebody donates 300$ all at once I will create a unique customized version of the toy.
Well, let me know what you think and thanks for reading, best wishes and regards,
Daniel.
