I'm currently a high school senior, and to graduate we have to do a project on a subject of out choice. I choose to do it on comic books. I'm actually required to have a physical product and a mentor for at least 15 hours or more. Well, I'm doing a few chapters of a comic idea I have and a poster. However, I need a mentor with whom can show me how to properly write, and/or help me with the artwork.
I already had put a signed-up for a mentor in the sigh-up thread, however that was just for digital artwork, I had been separately looking for a mentor for this project and very unsuccessful, so I'm sorry to have to make a new thread like this, but I also feel a little desperate at the moment. I hope you don't mind.
So, what I'm looking for help in is a little bit of anatomy, possibly help in drawing quick, but decent looking panel comics. I'd also need help with tone, hue, texture, and blending color's as well. If it helps to know, my main focus for the comic would be a lot of environmental artwork, I would like to put a lot of those in there; as well as action type fighting.I have a lot of rough sketches for character in a portfolio, Im looking to get some scanned in the next. For how, these 2 things are all I have to show where im currently at in level.
I would greatly appreciate any help. If you can't help, thanks anyway or if you have somewhere I could go to better my chances of finding a mentor, I'd be very grateful.
