Here is a WIP of my third work in Maya (and 3D in general). I feel a bit apprehensive of posting this here, everyone's work, especially the clay sculptures are really, really good.
It's really just some weird idea I've had in my head since I started 3D, there is no reference material for it at all and there doesn't seem to be a clear picture of how this structure actually works. The second picture is the power core in the center of the whole thing.
Anyways, just looking for some critique on the modeling and any weird ideas that come to your heads.
