This may or may not be the best place for this question, but here goes anyway!
Is there any chance we could get some tips on how to produce videos similar to the ones from Massive Black/ConceptArt?
Using CamStudio, I captured over an hour of footage, only to be left with a 2gb file that couldn't be opened for editing by anything. I've managed OK with shorter captures/smaller file sizes, as was then able to reencode successfully to a much smaller DivX file, but I'm looking for some settings that I can be confident won't mess up.
So... what codecs are you guys typically using, and what other settings would you advise?
TIA for any help.
