I think I'm attaching this correctly...

Description: I was doing some research on China during the "Warring States Period" and wondered what happened to the smaller states that were quickly taken over. Maybe they found refuge in a valley and built their houses on the walls to avoid being seen.

Just stumbled upon this activity. Let me know if I have done anything wrong (i'm new here). Really hoping I did this right. Thank you!

Description: This lost civilization draws its influence from the Norse pantheon; the mountains that make up the walls of the valley provide an excellent protective border and the dangers of the surrounding jungle also do well to keep people away. The denizens of this place mostly belong to one of two factions: the scholars or the laborers. The last monarch of these people was killed in a revolt.

Edit: Just wanted to say that I'm so impressed with what I've seen from the competition!

My first post in this forum, lots of great stuff here i look forward to being a regular here.. heres my shot at hidden civilization :rocker:

-----------------------------------------
Description: Since the days of Plato and his legends of the great civilization of Atlantis; many have tried to discover this mystical place or its remnants to prove once long ago mankind's hidden history of eons long passed. Though it was said to be completely submerged under into the seas during a great cataclysm, its surrounding outposts and colonies later became the great civilizations of ancient times. These explorers found one of the outposts deep in the amazon, hidden by centuries of foliage and canopy.

Gaius clearly the strongest visually, but with peetsbeets a strong showing and dynamic vertical format . I dug the look and painterly feel of Zanzan's piece but I felt it failed to illustrate the criteria of how these people's 'city' remained hidden and undiscovered. And I want to give honourable mention to Orion9282 for his very appealing image.

I am too late to compete but I'm throwing my Pueblo city into the main threat if you wanna check it out.

I like Zanzan's art alot, but Gaius just hit this one spot on.
