I bought this Alien Head kit on ebay a few years back. I hated the teeth it came with, as a fan I noticed they were no where near the original design. I attempted to correct this and the following "sculpt" was the result. I hope to get better guys, any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Oh! Yeah I also did this back a few years ago, my first SERIOUS attempt at sculpture.

Which alien is this? Is it suppose to be a kit for the human/Alien hybrid thing from the 4th movie?

You know your aliens Sculptingmonsters.
This is a casting from the refurbished molds used by Sideshow replicas for their alien head bust.. The teeth are obviously replacements and im just trying to make it look a bit more like the original. The teeth have been molded, cast, and attached to the skull by the way. Would you like some pics???

Coming right up. I molded these on the head so the fit of the casting was pretty good though some epoxy was needed to mount them and fill the gaps. I was using really soft crappy clay so alot of the finishing work was done on the hard, resin cast. I must say they came out better than expected given my lack of experience (never made a mold before). Thanks for the interest and gimme a couple mins to put up these pics.

No - it is the one from the first film. There's a pic in the one Giger book I don't have to hand right now (:( :P) of the alien head under-construction and there is definitely a skull under the translucent bit :)

Thanks sculptingmonsters610. Those are some way early pics where I was still experimenting with scales and texture. Sadly there werent many pics of that project. The finished piece didnt survive the molding process....silicone didnt cure properly.

Heres a view of the Sideshow head. You can see the skull just under the dome, which was opaque-gray in the movie
