well the more I did on my werewolf the farther down failure lane I traveled. So I decided to just stop while it still looked well moderatly decent. So I am starting a new project that I will take my time on. He is like a liquid type creature thing. So here it is so far. (I am showing just armature so I can fix any proportion problems and his right arm is supposed to be longer than anything else.)

i think the first thing that jumps out is the length of the torso section of the armature. its too long. simplistic as it is, i find that when im making human proportion armatures, the best thing to do if you're unsure is lay out the armature flat over a decent sketch or photo of the kind of build and proportions you want.
at the moment hes going to have very short legs, the actual hip joint is suprisingly high on the body, higher than the rough "halfway" point between legs and head/torso.

looking at the size of the head, torso and arms, I would say not that the torso is too long but the legs are far too short. this could be because of the nature of the character...but if this is supposed to have realistic human proportions the legs need to be longer...otherwise looking good so far gemlock. stick with it...it definitely gets better! believe me...

K I shortened (sp?) his torso area and I think it helped a lot. So I am on to best part adding clay.

if you want to have the image of your work post next to the title, you have to put the images directly on the site. stop using secondary image hosts. just transfer the picture files directly to conceptart from your computer.
also your work on the sculpt looks good so far...
keep at it!

do you have microsoft office on your computer? if you do there is a program called office picture manager on it you can use to compress your pictures to fit the web. this is what i do. then you can post the pics directly to the site, and they will appear at a size that shows up nicely on your thread.
btw looking good so far! keep it up bro!

I am getting pretty far into my creature thing and I am goinf to start textures soon. I need help though because I have no clue how to get the texture of water. I dont want a lot of wrinkles because he is supposed to be smooth like water but I don't know how to make it look like water at all realy.
Please help.
