Well to start it up, I suppose how do people animate? I mean I understand the basic rules of it... but which tools would be used in creating a simple cartoon show? I always figured surely to god there is an easier way to make animated movement than to re-draw every little frame by hand.. ?

Well... the obvious answer to that would be to use Flash as you can create a library of all your stock images and just keep replacing them when needed in the work area. On the other hand ToonBoom has the onion skin option that allows for easy re-tracing.

ok, i just got done downloading, and reinstalling everything onto my macbook. I have read some of those articles, and would appreciate it if you could give me a small assignment on some basic beginner stuff, I learn fast, so whatever you teach me would be cool :D
