I decided to make a face covering helmet in a vaguely Babylonian (or generic ancient mesopotamian, I'm no expert ;)) style.
So first a quick sketch...

Here's the mask, sculpted in a horribly yellow plasticine.

I'm planning on making a mold of this and creating the helmet seperately, so there'll actually be a chance it'd fit onto someone's head.

I'm planning to execute it in cold cast brass, hope everything will work out.

i like it...looks slightly villainous. very nice work, excellent detailing with the braided beard part. look forward to seeing more.

I made a mold of the face, using Brush-on 35 PU rubber.

From that I produced this mask:
(metal finish produced by adding brass powder into the first layer of resin.)
