Hi there!

I consider myself still pretty fresh in painting characters, since I'm more used to painting environments and hard surfaces.
Any kind of input is greatly appreciated!

Please make sure to have a look at the fullview at 1600px here: http://www.inetgrafx.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/HAUNTED-BEAUTY-V01a-1600px.jpg

It was entirely painted in Photoshop CS2 using a Wacom Intuos2 A4 tablet.
It took me in total so far around 8 hours.

Thanks a lot for viewing,

Dan

I-NetGraFX, this painting is beautiful, BUT if she is haunted than her face expression is totally wrong. I see more romantic female portrait. Change the name of the painting, or change expression. Any way 4* from me

I dunno i can see a kind of sad puppy look to her, where the hands on that wall are the part that make me think if you were to get "Romantic" with her you may regret it... All round i love it, the skin is awesome...

Nice colors and job on hair. eyes can improve, specially left eye.

There's something off about the eyes, they don't look like they're focused on the same point. Also, the softness of her outside contour, combined with the shadow on the wall behind her, makes it look like she's sinking into the wall.

Hey Dan, I really love your work and sure it sure feels special to know that Meduzarts is 10 minutes from my place. I do agree with Elwell about her sinking into the wall, especially on the lower edge and around her hair.
