A new round

The Rules:
Anyone ages 13-19 may submit an entry at any time before the deadline. Please host your image on a remote image-hosting site instead of uploading it to the CA server. This makes it much easier to transfer it to the poll thread.

The Topic: Smaug
I think you all've seen, read or heard about "the Lord of the Rings". Smaug is a dragon in this LotR world ( middle earth ) which is named in the book "The Hobbit". This round you should design this dragon.

IMPORTANT
1. Add a border around your image with your name and the topic, like they do with the other of the week challenges.
2. Plese do not use attachment manager, but outside host your image.
3. Mark your final as final

Is there a specific number of limbs it has to have?
Or do we have to stick as close to the hobbit as possible?

Goog! Dood! Great man, love it. Didn't see the finnished one. I think you missed a thing though, perhaps the most essential thing for a dragon like Smaug, I'm speaking of course of the treasure he be resting upon. :)
I think you could work on the composition some more, use the empty space for something. Perhaps a forground silouette or somebody approaching the dragon.
Anyways great way of handling light as always though.

I think I'm going to enter this one actually. hopefully I'll manage to find the time.

yes post it here, but unlike other threads on this site in which you would use the Attachment Manager, use a image hosting site.

@Xabian: But what theme? I think there is every option like charakter, enviro, creature etc. in the ACTIVITIES-fourm.
I think we should do something different. But if someone has got a concrete idea of a topic dealing with this deep theme please let me know.

I think that Deep should be kept separate because the current deep can be for teens so there it would be more of a copy not a teen version. How about...

- Necromancer
- Demonic Gatekeeper
- Cyborg
- Barricaded house ready for zombie attack
- High Tech Knight
- Large ridable creature that's not a horse

Yea that's true.

"Large ridable creature that's not a horse" sounds cool but we already had a creature round this TC.
A cyborg challenge sounds cool.

yeah i guess your right with another deep contest. But how about mixing "Large ridable creature that's not a horse and A cyborg" so it would be a cyborg mount, which doesn't resemble a horse. Just mixing things up a lil
