Some new studies...more or less. I really have a problem drawing small eyes...so I always re-draw them bigger next to the pic, but still...not sure if that will help me learn drawing them :(

Im so mad right now :( I have absolutely no time for drawing, and if I have, its usually late evening, which means Im tired, not focusing and my mind is flating somewhere else....
Ahh, this was produced last night....my eyes still hurt from staring into the PC screen :/

your work is good, if u keep on working hard like this i am sure u will make it to the college. but your faces specially eyes looks a bit unnatural. i think u should pay more attention to faces. try andrew loomis its good book. shading is good but needs to work more. keep on working this way. all the best.

me_art_and_animation - thanks, you are the 3rd person who in the last few days suggested Loomis books for me. I guess I really should kick my lazy butt and start to study them!
sebastian_H - thanks, although I dont think I have any chance of getting accepted, but I might aswell try:) The competition here is really tough since we have very few Art Unis (3, if I am correct) for the whole country, but thanks, I will try and practice more

And now this is after I studied (aand still studying) Loomis´ book about drawing heads.
You decide if the slight improvement is there or not....(I hope there is, but i see none to be honest :( )

Well, I was bored and there was this empty coffee mug on my table....so I though I should give it a try (heck, I will have to start to dig into these kind of studies too, so why to avoid them?)
this is still a wip though

Think those studies are really great! If you keep going, you will finally get where you want to be!:)You definitely have a talent, a good eye and a good hand so if you keep practice you really will make it! Just don't give up!
[ sorry that I'm not able to say something more professional, but I'm still learning myself! :^^;: :bashful: ]

More studies, I started to focus more on eyes itself (and am planning to continue with the rest o facial features...so hopefully I will finally to draw the damn faces...)
And also focusing now on the overall proportions and feet...
Aand I really should start to build my portfolio for the University...:(

Hey, you're putting a lot of work into this! They're very nice studies, and I particularly like the eyes in your last post.
Thanks for posting on my sketchbook and welcoming me to CA.
Nice job.

Great studies in here friend! You should pay more attention to construction and proportion. You get sloppy in some areas. Other than that just keep going!
