Hey man, i'm not gonna lie, your Roboman was way better when he was tarnished!

The shiny effect makes him loose a lot of details, plus the type of details he has calls for drybrushing and tarnished styles.

Design wise he blows my mind, i love it.

which figures did you use during it's creation? any wip pics?

awesome work man. you have a rugged, 'grungy' style that really fits the pieces i have seen from you. great use of lego pieces! :)

RoboMan...
I agree that the grungy version shows details better. I spray painted him shinny black first... took some pictures then grunged him up. So the shinny version does not exist anymore. I sculpted the figure from scratch, using Sculpey, then molded him in resin, then added model parts for the tiny details.

Awsome details man, a little bit of a strange pose but it does get me curious about it. Sweet stuff

The helmet was from a toy actually.

That robot at the top looks great man. I'm also really diggin the alien. The texture is added in just the right spots. Too often you see people over work a texture and it ruins the piece. Keep it up!

I like the shiny one. I find the tarnish cliché, borrowing too much from H.R. Giger.

What sculpting material did you use for the robot?
