its nice to see your studies, and traditional work. I myself have been doing human studies like a warrior for the last week. It is a lot of discipline, keep it up and results will come with time. ;)

Probably what would help your figures most would be to study anatomy
You'll probably hear this alot, most people trying to get better have the same problem (I did and still do)
Your faces arent bad though
They have most of the major proportions and such
Just keep workin at it, practice is one of the most important things for getting better

Hey you have a nice SB here. Don't give up on art at school if its something you wanna do. I remember hating my GCSE art lessons, but enjoying my A level ones. But ofc if you wanna do something else then ignore me lol.
Your portraits are really nice, dont really feel qualified to give CC lol, maybe try using a softer pencil for shading with, like 3B pencils, they could give them more tone.
I like the latest piece you've submitted too. I like his stance and the flow of the cloak behind him. You've put a lot of detail into it but the photo is too small to see it clearly.
Your pics make me wanna do more portraiture now haha.
Keep up the good work :D

Thanks for stopping by!
I like the portraits, they look pretty good.
I'd like to see some more anatomy studies. You've probably already been told about this, but look up Loomis, Bridgman and Hogarth. Just reading through them gives you a lot of pointers.
Keep it up! Hope you enjoy the life drawing class, it will probably teach you a lot.

your showing some amazing improvement, you must be working very hard. it doesn't even look like the same artist form just back to your posts in febuary. conceptual stuff is interesting, to me it a good style. your life darwing classes should help quite a bit with anatomy and stuff, but overall a nice start
hard to critique those newer drawings, just keep at it, and draw any opportunity you get.
