Looking for drawing mentor.

Hey guys, haven't been around in a couple days, really busy at school and such. But I just went to a car show, and then i realized that drawing cars is what I want to do. I also want to learn the abstract pin striping that is on most hot rods.

I have all the needed supplies(fancy pencils, fancy erasers, sketchbook etc.)
But i feel that I need a mentor to help me with the shapes, and 3Dness of the cars. Also drawing the lines of the car, and using proportions. For example, I cant make the tires of a car for crap.
