The 2008 Newbold Challenge

Hi Everyone! My name is Ian Newbold and I run an event called the Newbold Challenge. The Challenge has a goal of raising £25,000 ($50,000 USD) over the five year period ending 31 December 2010 for one of the UK's most famous charities, Children in Need.

Part of the Challenge consists of a small number of sponsored events for artists, figure sculptors and figure painters. These events are not very grand but the winner of each one receives a prize of £50 GBP ($100 USD) for himself and in addition we donate another £50 GBP to Children in Need on his behalf.

Our Second Artwork Event of the year is now under way and you would be most welcome to enter if you would like the chance to have a bit of fun, win our small prize and do a little bit of good for a very worthy cause. :)
